Fun fact for you all, I'm obsessed with skin care and make up; I can spend hours watching youtube videos and enjoy reading reviews about new products whilst trying to convince myself I don't need them... Which leads me onto this review. I have reviewed a number of products from 7 Leaf Health in the past and thus far have been impressed so I was definitely eager to try out their new moisturiser and see how it worked for me.
The formula of this moisturiser is thick and it is housed in a weighty glass jar. The consistency is almost like the classic cold cream or the classic Nivea creme and whilst it's on the heavier side it does melt into the skin with no residue once applied. The moment you open it you're met with the fresh smell of ginger and lemon which isn't overwhelming but it's just enough that you get a hint of it throughout the day. It contains 300mg of CBD, is vegan friendly and is GMO free.
Now whilst this is called a daily moisturiser, I consider this more of a body moisturiser but only because I have super sensitive skin and prefer light formulas. However, I did apply a small amount to my chin over a few days when I was having the breakout from hell (here's looking at your hormones) and it very quickly kicked the redness out of my skin as well as soothing the tenderness as a result of my skin being inflamed.
I mainly used this on my legs which in the colder months are incredibly prone to dryness and as a consequence my skin becomes really itchy and raw. Within fifteen minutes of applying this I could noticeably feel my skin being soothed and the itchiness stopped, I did have to reapply it every couple of hours but I would have to do that with medicated balms too. My skin was also noticeably less dry and flakey.
Additionally, when speaking to 7 Leaf Health they also recommended that their cream could be used to help with eczema. Wanting to put this to the test, I shared it with my other half who suffers with eczema on his elbows and legs. After a few days he told me not only had his eczema flare ups reduced but he didn't need to apply as much product or as often in comparison with his usual go-to cream so for him it was a win win.
