Brown's CBD 2500mg CBD Hemp Oil Review

With so many different options and varieties of CBD products on the market, it's incredibly easy to feel overwhelmed, especially when you're new to taking CBD. I won't go into much detail about that (but I do recommend reading my WTF is CBD Anyway? guide should you want more information). But what I will say that CBD can be suspended in a wide range of carrier oils which have varying pros and cons; if you haven't guessed by my title, Brown's CBD oils are hemp based.

In using a hemp oil, this encourages the 'entourage' effect which essentially means that the combined elements of the hemp plant work together and potentially boost the benefits (Ratliff, 2020). In addition to this, Brown's CBD oil is full spectrum and contains cannabinoids and terpenes such as: Myrcene, B-Caryophyllene and Pinene, which are known for it's anti-inflammatory properties (Rufino et al. 2015), (Salehi et al. 2019). Plus it's vegan and raw, meaning all the natural goodness of the plant remains in the oil, rather than being filtered out and removed.

Being a raw hemp oil, this product has a very earthy taste with an underlying bitterness but it's not unpleasant like a scorched cup of coffee can be (if that makes sense?!) I actually preferred adding drops of this into my green tea which is a great option if you're not a fan of the taste of hemp. Each drop contains approximately 12.5mg of CBD and I tended to have 2 drops in the morning and again in the evening, totalling around 50mg for the entirety of my day.

Due to this oil having a high amount of anti-inflammatory terpenes, I found it incredibly beneficial in settling my incredibly angry sciatic nerve which has been volatile as of late. As always I tested this product over a few weeks and I was really impressed with the difference it made it settling my nerve pain as well as keeping my sciatic nerve flare ups to a minimum. Usually when my sciatica is bad I can't usually stand by the end of the day but this oil seemed to significantly reduce my overall pain and kept me functional and mobile rather than bed bound.

The other thing I noticed when using this oil was how much sounder I slept, I'm not sure if this could be attributed to the reduction of my pain and/or the fact that it helped to settle my anxiety and mood swings too. I should also mention that this oil is incredibly cost effective and whilst it seems on the higher end of the market, to get 2500mg of CBD for £84.99 is brilliant, especially when compared with similar products that retail for over the £150 mark. A little of this oil goes a long, long way!

Brown's CBD 2500mg CBD Hemp Oil is £84.99 for 10ml.
