Dr. Ed Long Lasting CBD Lubricant Review

I don't think it's any secret that CBD based lubes have become a necessary part of my intimate health regime but what you may not know is that it was a CBD lube that opened up my understanding as to how marvellous of a product it is. Since then, I've been a convert.

Yet, CBD lubes are still a hard to come by product, especially in the UK. However, as the power of CBD becomes more well known it seems more companies are developing their own CBD based formulas which I find incredibly exciting. One such company is Dr. Ed who I will admit I have heard of but never had the pleasure of trying any of their products... Until now.

Housed in an easy to use pump bottle (very useful when grabbing it off the bedside table), this water based lube contains 100mg of CBD. The formula is long lasting, light, non-sticky and has an almost silky feel to it; you don't need much and it applies smoothly. I found that it had a soothing, cooling effect which wasn't overpowering. Furthermore, being water based means that it is latex safe.

Once applied, I found it took twenty minutes to feel the effect of the CBD which resulted in my vaginal muscles relaxing and not being as sore after both my dilator therapy and penetrative sex, in both situations there was no need to re-apply. In addition to this, when I tested this lube in conjunction with one that was oil based, it continued to work brilliantly.

I will say that I am used to using CBD lubes which have a higher concentration of lube contained within them and found that I preferred Dr. Ed's for my personal use when doing my dilator therapy. My only concern is that the presence of glycerin and glycerol in the formula could be aggravating to some individuals.

This lube lives up to the claim of being long-lasting, a little really does go a long way. With a low price point of £19.99, this could be a great CBD lube to try if you've never used one before or have found the others on the market too expensive to warrant buying on a regular basis.
