Fasham's CBD Apple Gummy Rings Review
CBD gummies are something that I've be weary of despite the fact that I've been recommended to try them plenty of times. Why? I've tasted some pretty disgusting CBD gummies in the past. Some just tasted horribly artificial and others have a really unappetising aftertaste that refused to disappear. That and I'm so used to using tinctures/vapes that I've never had a real reason to purchase them. Despite said negative past experiences, I do like the idea that I could easily keep some into my handbag in case I need to top up my CBD levels in places where it's not suitable to vape or apply topicals.
So most importantly, did these taste good enough to eat more than once?
Yes.
These taste really good.
Like, I kinda had to stop myself from snacking on them all at once because they tasted that good.
If you've ever had the chance to have Haribo Kikkers (Haribo's gummy frogs) or Sourz Apple, these taste exactly like those and whilst they have a slightly earthy aftertaste to them, it's not unpleasant and easily disappears with a drink.
Each resealable pot contains 25 gummies and each gummy contains 30mg of CBD. Fasham's recommend taking 2 to 4 gummies at a time (but no more than 12 per 6 hours). As I've said in previous CBD reviews, my preferred daily dosage is between 50-60mg so I started by taking two of these at a time once a day. Whilst that did slightly decrease my pain, I found that on a low pain day the perfect amount for me was 4 gummies.
Once eaten, it took around 45 minutes to notice the benefits which was primarily a reduction in my anxiety and an improvement of my mood. Regarding my pain, these gummies alone weren't enough to eradicate my pain completely but they definitely did help take the edge off and made getting through the day a lot easier. I also found that I could take a lower dosage of my daily CBD tincture when I already had the CBD from these gummies in my system.
Overall I liked the convenience of these. Whilst I wouldn't use them as my primary CBD source, I liked how I could quickly eat a few if I felt I needed a boost, plus, they really do taste yummy!
