Green Valley Organics CBD Balm Review

It's been quite some time since I have last reviewed a CBD topical balm and whilst I have my tested and true favourites, I always like to see what else is available on the market. I have previously reviewed Green Valley's 1000mg CBD oil and was impressed with it so I had high standards for their new CBD balm.

Housed in a sturdy plastic pot, this CBD balm is pleasant smelling, not overly 'hempy' (not a word but I hope you get what I mean!) and has a slight sweetness to it. In terms of texture, this balm is easy to scoop out of the pot without it becoming too viscous and going everywhere. I found that scooping out the balm and warming it up slightly in my hands allowed it be spread easily on my skin without much need to rub it in afterwards, there also wasn't any residue once absorbed.

Green Valley's CBD balm contains 500mg of full spectrum CBD and contains coconut oil, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil as well as vitamin E, meaning that it's also incredibly moisturising. I actually found myself reaching for this to use on my legs, which can become incredibly itchy and irritated when I'm feeling run down. This did a brilliant job at soothing my skin as well as preventing further skin flares ups which would usually occur afterwards, plus, a little went a long way!

I also found myself reaching for this balm when my back was spasming and my sciatic nerve was becoming inflamed as a result. Usually without intervention, my sciatic nerve will cause pain to radiate down into my hips and legs. I would apply this to my lower back and hips and within half an hour the pain would have dissipated. I have to admit, this balm was fantastic at cutting through my pain and was just as successful (if not more so) as the high end products I've tried in the past. If you're new to using a CBD balm, I would highly recommend this one.

Green Valley Organics CBD Balm is £19.99 per pot.
