Kokoro Botanicals Herbal Tea Review

As I've gotten older, I've come to appreciate flavoured teas, especially when I'm feeling run down and/or bloated. Usually I'll reach for the peppermint or green tea so it was nice to try something different to see if it helped with my pain.

Kokoro Botanicals' tea contains only organic cannabis sativa plant and seeds and has a whopping 40mg of CBD per cup. The bag itself reminds me of those used by Tea Pigs and I love that they can be used more than once (I don't let my tea brew for ages so I found I could use each twice before the flavour was compromised).

I have to admit that I was apprehensive about what this tea might taste like but actually I was pleasantly surprised. It definitely has that classic hemp taste (I know that's stating the obvious!) but there was an underlying sweetness to it too. I found that 5 minutes was the perfect brewing time for me but Kokoro do suggest that you should brew anywhere between 5 to 10 minutes depending on your preference.

Within minutes of drinking this tea I felt calmer and like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. After half an hour, this tea had caused my sciatica pain to ease from a sharp shooting pain to a dull and more bearable ache which continued for a few hours after drinking it too. This tea now has a place in my collection and I know I'll be reaching for it at work if a sudden pain flare hits. If you love herbal teas and want to combine that with the benefits of CBD, this tea is definitely for you.

Kokoro Botanicals Herbal Cannabis Tea is currently £14.95 for a box of 10 bags.
