I love a practical product. I love a product that is compact and that I can sling it my bag for those 'just in case' scenarios. Moi + Me's Moment Balm is definitely one of those products and when I was caught out with a flare during a night away, it definitely came to my rescue. Housed in a screw cap, twist up stick packaging, this non-scented balm contains 300mg of CBD and is self heating and it certainly packs a punch.
As I mentioned above, I first found myself reaching for this on a train commute where my back had been pressed into a hard seat and my sciatic nerve had well and truly gone into meltdown mode. The packaging is discreet enough that I could whip it out and apply it without any difficulty and within minutes the heat started to ease my pain. Within another twenty I felt the CBD kick in and the throbbing knot of pain in my lower back eased significantly before dissipating completely.
In addition to the CBD, this balm contains black pepper (providing the heat), coconut oil, peach kernel oil, shea butter, argan oil and cocoa butter meaning it's also moisturising and soothing on the skin. Plus the inclusion of the terpenes linalool, limonene and geranoil means that there are potential anti-inflammatory properties to help ease aches and pains. The balm is also vegan and cruelty free which always makes me happy too.
Due to it's size and effectiveness, this balm is definitely coming with me when I'm travelling for whatever reason and is going to be a permanent staple in my suitcase.
