Patch Adams CBD Bath Bomb Review
For someone who says she's much more of a shower person than a bath person, I've had a hell of a lot of baths lately. This obviously isn't an issue but I have found myself rather looking forward to trying out any CBD bath products that get sent my way especially when I know they have the potential to take my pain away!
The first thing I noticed about this bath bomb was the incredible citrus fragrance and I was even more impressed when I continued to smell it on my skin long after I had gotten out of the bath too. Upon dropping it into my bath, it fizzed and bubbled and turned the water an inviting orange colour, almost like the bath had been filled with juice.
Whilst I was slightly apprehensive about turning into an Oompah Loompa as a result of the colouring sticking to my skin, I needn't have worried but I would recommend giving your skin a good scrub after. However, this can't be said of my bath... I had to really put my back into cleaning my bath after using this bath bomb as the residue didn't wash away easily. If you've got a bath prone to staining, I would probably avoid this product.
In terms of ingredients, this bath bomb contains 99% pure hemp extract, argan, rosehip, avocado, olive, evening primrose, coconut and peach kernel oils as well as a combination of shea and cocoa butter and essential oils. I definitely noticed that my skin felt moisturised after using this! CBD wise, this bath bomb contains 100mg and Patch Adam's recommend letting the bath completely absorb before getting into the tub.
In line with the instructions suggesting to soak for at least half an hour, I would say that this was accurate in terms of starting to feel the benefits of the CBD. I used this on a day when I was experiencing stabbing sciatic pain as well as uterine and back contractions/spasms and the combination of hot water plus CBD made an incredible difference. Prior to getting in the bath I could barely stand, once I'd soaked for an hour I found that I could move much easier and my spasms in my lower back ceased completely.
Patch Adam CBD Bath Bomb is £5.99.
