Patch Adam Heated CBD Muscle Balm Review

Even though CBD balms are the newest of CBD products that I've tried, I absolutely love them. They're discreet, don't offend anyone and do what they say on the tin. I've always relied on heat based products to help with my pain but more often than not, heat based muscle rubs have a pungent smell and you have to wash your hands immediately after use. Don't get me wrong, I quite like the smell of the menthol and capsicum but it's usually powerful enough to mask any other sort of fragrance you're wearing.

This is where Patch Adams come in. After a quick chat about my CBD needs, they kindly sent me their heated CBD muscle balm to try. I love the packaging of this. Like, love with a capital L. My job means that I usually have to power through any pain and only have a few minutes at a time to grab any pain relief if I need it. Patch Adams' heated balm works like a roll on deodorant; you don't have to touch the product to apply it meaning no need to wash your hands after use. It's also about the size of a deodorant too, which means it can be thrown into any sort of bag you use without it taking up any space.

Formula wise, this balm contains 300mg of CBD as well as argan, avocado and evening primrose oil, shea and cocoa butter, rosemary, thyme, lavender, black pepper and beeswax. The heat comes from the black pepper and once applied only takes a couple of minutes to kick in. I found the heat lasted for around an hour and was gentle enough to not cause me to have a hot flush. The herbs mean it has a pleasant, subtle smell which I also found to be relaxing.

If you haven't already guessed, I really like this product and for the most part used it to help with my constant back ache. Once applied, it eradicated said back pain immediately and helped reduce the radiating pain in my hips and legs too. When I had deferred pain in my neck and shoulders, it had the same effect. As I said, I love the practicality of this balm and it has become the main product I reach for at work it has a prime spot on the self above my desk.

Patch Adam Extra Strength Heated Relief Balm is £14.99.
