Shake CBD 1200mg CBD Muscle Rub Review
When my endometriosis is being horrid and triggers my sciatic nerve into having a meltdown, CBD balm is what I reach for when using a CBD oil hasn't been enough to take the edge off and when Shake CBD announced that a balm was going to be the newest product in their range, I was really excited to try it. That's not to say I was going to go easy on them because you know, I don't want to be known as a biased reviewer...
The packaging of this balm immediately makes it feel luxurious; the balm itself is housed in a glass jar which gives it weight and said jar comes within a pouch which can be used for anything you like (I use it to keep some of my endometriosis flare items in).
I also really like the multipurpose element of this balm, due to it's thinner, buttery texture it makes it incredibly easy to massage into the skin and I ended up using this not only to manage my pain but to soothe and moisturise my hands after the constant hand washing and hand sanitising that is necessary at the moment.
Their website lists the ingredients as being 100% organic and their balm includes beeswax, sweet almond oil, pure essential oils such as (lavender and eucalyptus) and is infused with 1200mg of CBD. This high percent of CBD is what makes it so effective at helping ease pain and when applied to my lower back, it took around 40 minutes to kick in. When my pain was at my most severe, this balm reduced the sharp, shooting pains to a dull ache and on lower pain days, it removed it completely.
Finally, I also ended up using this balm when I felt I had a cold coming to ease my nasal congestion. The addition of eucalyptus and peppermint essential oils were enough to keep my sinuses clear when I applied this balm to my chest. I would definitely say this balm is a great all rounder and something you can reach for time and time again.
Shake CBD 1200mg CBD Muscle Balm is £34.99 for a 60g jar.
