Serenna Serenity 10% CBD Oil Review

As you probably all know at this point, I bloody love CBD and am so thankful that I discovered it. However, what I love even more is when CBD allows me to connect with people and when a CBD company is created with a purpose rather than seemingly jumping on the bandwagon. I was able to connect with Becky, the wonderful founder of Serenna, over a conversation about how I use CBD to help with my endometriosis and as a result was kindly sent their 10% CBD oil to try out.

Before I go into more detail about that, I think it is important to note that Serenna is a female run and female focused CBD company and during my conversation with Becky it was very apparent that their products have been designed with women in mind and are tailored to support the health and wellbeing of women. That's not to say it's not for everyone but I always have and always love supporting women who support other women and when a business is born out of a personal experience. Plus, 5% of Serenna's profits go to causes that champion women's rights around the world, meaning the cycle of supporting women continues.

But what about the oil itself?

Serenna's Serenity oil comes in 2 different formulations: 5% and 10%. I was kindly gifted the latter to review and I have to say, I was very impressed. The oil is broad spectrum meaning it has a number of terpenes, flavonoids and cannabinoids such as, CBD and CBDVA which are both known for their anti-inflammatory properties. The carrier oil is a coconut MCT oil which gives it a slightly sweet taste which compliments the earthy hemp taste and makes it more palatable. If you've followed my reviews for awhile, you'll know I'm not the greatest fan of the taste of hemp but this passed my tea test (taking the oil and then following it with a cup of tea!) with no unsavoury aftertaste either.

Each drop of oil contains approximately 5mg of CBD and I had four drops in the morning and four again in the evening, working out at approximately 40mg of CBD which was the perfect amount for my needs. The dropper itself is high quality and allows you to be precise with administering each drop too. Whilst my pain has been at its lowest for a long time, this oil helped to keep my sciatic nerve from flaring up and on the one day I did have a flare, it was minimal and it was over as quickly as it had started. I found that the anti-inflammatory properties of this oil were great and if you're someone who suffers with painful joints or nerve pain, this oil could be a good fit for you.

Serenna's Serenity 10% CBD Oil is £54 for 10ml.
