The packaging for this product is absolutely amazing, to the point that when it arrived I immediately went to find my other half to show him just how cute it was. That's right, I found the packaging cute. Why? Because it is presented in a miniature egg carton and with a seed bomb that looks like a bumblebee that I can't wait to plant in my garden.
Plus, my guinea pigs really enjoyed destroying the box and if my guineas are happy, I'm happy.
Seriously though, it's clear that this brand means business with their environmental pledges and I love that. What do I mean? Well, VoN plant a tree with each delivery that they process. So if you're serious about being green, this company is definitely worth a look.
The Strong oil is broad spectrum, THC free, vegan, gluten free and contains no added flavourings, colourants or preservatives. In addition to his, VoN also double lab tests their products, meaning that there is complete transparency and reassurance over the safety and quality of their products. The Strong version of their oil contains 1000mg of CBD and is blended with a coconut MCT carrier oil. Each drop contains approximately 5mg of CBD and a full pipette is 25mg.
For my needs, I had 3 drops in the morning and 3 again in the evening before bed, equalling 30mg in total. Due to this oil being 'winterised' (a purification process involving soaking the hemp oil in alcohol and then freezing it to isolate the CBD) the taste of it is very mild and pleasant which is great if you're not a fan of the flavour of hemp. I found that this oil definitely helped me to get a better night's sleep as well as helping reducing the joint pain in my hips and knees after a day of being on my feet. I also found that my sciatic pain during a flare up was reduced and seemed to settle much quicker. Overall, I was very impressed with this CBD oil.
