Good Gracious Green Original CBD Balm Review

The final offering from the wonderful Good Gracious Green balm range is their Original CBD balm. I've previously tried their Joint Balm as well as their Dry Skin Balm which I've been incredibly impressed with, so I was keen to see how the original balm slotted into their range.

In comparison with the other two balms, this is definitely the darkest in colour but it does rub easily into the skin without a trace, you just have to make sure the area is dry before letting clothing touch it to avoid staining. I found myself reaching for this when my left ovary decided to kick up a fuss (thanks ovarian cyst) and needed relief fast.

What's great about this balm is that a little goes a long way; it contains 500mg of CBD as well as essential oils such as clary sage, lavender and peppermint which are all great for easing menstrual pain (Han et al. 2006) or in my case, rowdy ovaries. Furthermore, this balm also contains shea butter, cocoa butter and vitamin E so it's also ultra moisturising and it smells great too.

In terms of specific pain relief, this balm was strong enough to stop the painful spasms of my ovary as well as helping to relieve the tension and radiating pain in my hips too. For me, this was a great balm for my daily aches and pains, it's a good all rounder.

Good Gracious Green Joint CBD Balm is £30 for a 30ml tin (or £5 for a sample 5ml tin).
