Patch Adam Deep Relief CBD Muscle Gel Review

This is the second topical product I've been gifted from Patch Adam and I was interested to see how they compare and differ from one another as well as in comparison to ibuprofen based muscle gels that I've relied on in the past.

One thing that I immediately liked was the easy to use pump; often gel based products come in a tube which makes application messy and as a result the product can get wasted. With Patch Adam's muscle gel I found that one pump was a sufficient amount when applied to a small area such as my lower back and that two pumps was enough to provide coverage for both my shoulders, it didn't drip or get blocked.

The viscosity of this muscle gel is great; it's not too runny that it goes everywhere but not too thick that you can't spread it. I found that when I applied it, it was best to warm it up in my hands and than it sunk in quickly without any stickiness or tackiness.

After application I found that it took around 10 minutes for me to feel the benefits and that it lasted for around 2-3 hours. I used this to help with both my sciatic pain and the shoulder pain I experienced as a result of my laparoscopy. In both circumstances it significantly reduced my pain as well as preventing the pain from radiating down my hips into my legs. This muscle gel also provided a soothing effect due to containing both menthol and camphor essential oils which was great at cooling down the burning pain my sciatica causes.

This 100ml gel provides 300mg of CBD as well as containing aloe vera, the aforementioned essential oils and lavender which has the added benefit of being moisturising rather than drying your skin out! Whilst the bottle is too large to place in my handbag (especially in comparison with their heated balm) I continue to reach for this when I'm at home and need pain relief quickly.

Patch Adam Deep Relief CBD Muscle Gel is £14.99.
